Frequently asked questions

Purity, testing, shipping and the regulatory boundaries we operate within.

Affiliate

What is a PEPCOiN?

PEPCOiNS are the reward currency of the affiliate programme. One PEPCOiN is worth $0.10 toward anything in the catalog. They are store rewards, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

How much do affiliates earn?

20% of the item subtotal on every order your link brings in, paid in PEPCOiNS — not first-order-only. Shipping and tax are excluded, so you earn on revenue the business actually keeps. A $250 order earns 500 PEPCOiNS, worth $50 of product.

Do I earn anything for referring someone who does not buy?

Yes. You earn 25 PEPCOiNS the first time a person creates an account through your link or code, and 50 more when that person places their first order. Both are paid once per person rather than once per click, so building a real audience pays and refreshing a page does not.

How long does attribution last?

90 days. A researcher who clicks your link today and orders eleven weeks later is still credited to you. Procurement cycles in research are slow, and the window reflects that.

What does my audience get?

10% off their order, whether they arrive through your link or type your code at checkout. They can also create an account and start earning PEPCOiNS of their own — including a 50 PEPCOiN welcome grant for joining through you. The discount and the account are separate benefits; taking one does not cost them the other.

Can I choose my own code and link?

Yes. Pick the word you want and your share link becomes peptiqxbiotech.com/thatword — the same code customers type at checkout. Three to twenty-four characters, letters, numbers and hyphens. Every code is reviewed by our team before it goes live, because an approved code is a public address on our own domain. Until it is approved the link does not resolve and the code earns nothing.

Can I change my code later?

Yes, from your portal. Your existing code keeps working the whole time the new one is under review, so links you have already posted do not break. Once the new code is approved the old one stops resolving — update anything you control that still points at it.

How do I get paid?

In PEPCOiNS, which you spend at checkout on catalog products. Sale earnings are held for 14 days while the return window on the order closes, then become spendable automatically. There are no cash payouts and no cash refunds under this programme — PEPCOiNS are redeemable for product only.

Can I pay for an order partly in PEPCOiNS?

Yes. At checkout you can pay entirely by card, entirely in PEPCOiNS, or split the order across both. Apply them in the cart before you pay. The smallest redemption is 50 PEPCOiNS.

Do PEPCOiNS expire?

That depends on the current programme policy, which is shown on your wallet page and in the programme terms. PEPCOiNS already in your account keep the expiry they were issued under. Expired PEPCOiNS are forfeited and are not reinstated.

What will get me removed from the programme?

Making therapeutic, dosing or efficacy claims; presenting these materials as fit for human or animal use; bidding on our brand terms in paid search; or self-referring your own orders. Any of these ends the partnership and forfeits unredeemed PEPCOiNS.

Compliance

Are these products approved by the FDA?

No. None of our products are approved by the FDA for any use. They are research chemicals sold for in-vitro laboratory research only, and are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or medical devices.

Can these be used in humans or animals?

No. Our products must never be administered to humans or animals. They are not sterile-filled for injection, are not manufactured to pharmaceutical standards, and are sold on the express condition that they are used only in laboratory research. PEPTiQX is not a compounding pharmacy.

Handling

How should I store the material?

Store the lyophilised powder at -20°C, protected from light and moisture. Under those conditions most sequences are stable for well over a year. Once reconstituted, refrigerate at 2-8°C and use within the window appropriate to the sequence.

How do I reconstitute a lyophilised peptide?

Add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial rather than directly onto the powder, and let it dissolve without shaking. Vortexing and direct jets can shear longer sequences.

Why does my GHK-Cu solution look blue?

That is expected. The blue colour comes from the copper(II) coordination in the tripeptide complex and is a visual indicator that the complex is intact.

Ordering

Who can order from PEPTiQX?

Orders are accepted from qualified researchers, laboratories, universities and institutional buyers. At checkout you must certify that the materials will be used solely for in-vitro laboratory research.

How fast do orders ship?

Orders placed before 3:00 PM Arizona Time on a business day are dispatched the same day. Orders after the cut-off, or on weekends and holidays, ship the next business day.

Do you offer bulk or custom synthesis?

Yes. We can quote gram-scale quantities of catalog items and custom sequences with defined purity specifications. Contact research support with your sequence, quantity and required purity.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards through our payment processor. Institutional purchase orders can be arranged for established accounts — contact us to set that up.

Shipping

How are peptides shipped?

Lyophilised peptides are stable at ambient temperature for the duration of normal transit and ship in insulated packaging. Cold-chain shipping is available on request for temperature-sensitive custom orders.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to select countries. International customers are responsible for ensuring the materials may be lawfully imported for research use in their jurisdiction, and for any customs duties.

Testing

How is purity measured?

Purity is determined by reverse-phase HPLC with UV detection, typically at 214 nm where the peptide bond absorbs. The reported figure is the target peak area as a percentage of total integrated peak area. Our release specification is ≥98.0%.

How do you confirm identity?

Identity is confirmed by LC-MS. The measured mass is compared against the expected monoisotopic mass calculated from the sequence. A batch that does not match is not released, regardless of its purity number.

Who performs the testing?

Testing is performed by independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories — we do not self-report purity. The laboratory that tested your specific batch is named on the certificate of analysis.

Can I get the COA for the exact vial I received?

Yes. The batch number is printed on your vial label. Enter it in the COA library and you will get the certificate for that specific lot, not a representative sample.

What happens if a batch fails specification?

It is not released for sale. Out-of-specification material is quarantined and destroyed. We do not blend, re-test until pass, or downgrade failing lots.
